Bifolds with a View

A poorly built extension with a leaky roof and a rotten floor was the first bit of this project that needed sorting. Then down came internal walls with steels put into the ceiling to support. All compliant with Building Regulations Approval. What resulted is a family orientated gadget kitchen with Bluetooth Ovens and state of the art TV and sound system. The clients and their little family are overjoyed and spend most of their time, relaxing and working in this beautiful space. They can’t wait for the Summer when the bifolds doors will open up to indoor outdoor living.

Bolsover Barn

A fabulous Barn Conversion which has retained it’s 13th Century Beams but matched it with uber modern handle less furniture. Gadgets galore, coffee machine, wine cooler, Steam oven to name a few. It was a challenge to fit the extractor and our Dan had a nose bleed. We had to purchase longer wires!

Creating more Space in Walton

Our clients asked us to re-vamp their existing kitchen to give them an open space and open up into the hallway. So walls and doors out as we tend to like to do. Just read what our clients have said. “We’re absolutely delighted with the outcome of our new kitchen and open dining and hall area – it’s been a long time since we’ve all had enough space to dance together whilst the tea cooks!!! We’ve been telling anyone that will listen how great you and your staff have been – it’s almost been a pleasurable experience to live in a building site for a few weeks! The decorator finished today and the final appearance is awesome – we just need to find enough pennies for the stairs carpet and then we’re done. Special mentions to Dan, Liam, Chris, Nathaniel, Joe and finally Callum who had such consideration in designing the floor by text message! Nothing was too much trouble”. Dally the Dog certainly seems to enjoy the choice and design of the flooring! Thank you Callum. A white and blond oak match with their existing furniture and Two Miele ovens and an induction hob complete their new cooking experience on the dance floor!

Iron Handled Kitchen in Matlock Bath

A most wonderful house high up into the hillside.
With fabulous views from those windows.
A tiny kitchen was transformed into what we see now.
Years ago, this would have been the downstairs kitchen and the original “bell” is over the internal door to summon the downstairs staff.
If you look at the picture of the three doors open, you will see where the original fireplace and stove were homed.
We built in and around this space without wasting an inch. A modern design but with a very traditional emphasis, like the iron handles and shaker doors, has transported this wonderful traditional and beautifully built house into this Century.
